Our new research team is currently being established and students are recruited to be trained in biochemistry, molecular biology, microbiology and genetics. With biochemistry, molecular biology and cell biological approaches in yeast and human tissue culture, we analyze molecular interactions in eukaryotic cells involved in the process of peroxisome proliferation under diverse extracellular conditions including oxidative stress assaults. We are also engaged in teaching biochemistry and molecular biology at the Life Science Faculty of the University of Vienna, and supervise PhD and Master’s students.
