Max F. Perutz Laboratories - General Information

The Max F. Perutz Laboratories are a joint venture of the University of Vienna and the Medical University of Vienna. This new form of visionary inter- university cooperation will be a fertile ground for new developments in many areas of molecular life sciences.
 
Established in spring 2005 the PErutz Lab is pooling its expertise of more than 50 research groups  in Molecular Biology at the Campus Vienna Biocenter. It represents a new and innovative approach to strengthen research and training at both Universities. 
 
Embedded in the Campus Vienna Biocenter, a unique concentration of high-level research in the field of molecular biotechnology, the Perutz Lab comes across a perfect environment for excellent research.
