The Max F. Perutz Laboratories use a broad spectrum of model species that allow the addressing of novel questions in diverse areas of biology supported by a fish and annelid facility, as well as a plant facility. Likewise, the research groups use a panel of different approaches, including histology, light microscopy, flow cytometry, genomics, monoclonal antibodies, NMR spectroscopy and mass spectrometry.
Some of our facilities cater not only for the needs of Perutz Lab members; free capacities are offered to other researchers, both at the Vienna Biocenter (VBC) and beyond.
